The virtual hackathon featured over 1, 000 participants from 69 countries, with 20 teams making it to the semi-finals, out of which, 6 projects were chosen to participate in the final round. Skill Wallet – A startup that is focused on the 4th United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education. Skill Wallet aims to increase access to verifiable skill portfolios. By providing verifiable certificates to all participants of the hackathon, the newly formed team is getting ready to soft launch their beta. Blockdrop – A blockchain agnostic NoCode platform for smart-contracts. Kotani Pay was awarded the admission into the $100, 000 startup acceleration program that begins in early 2021. Following the Babylon Project, Kotani Pay has already gone live on Celo, a mobile-first blockchain for emerging markets, offering both an on-ramp and off-ramp from crypto to fiat in Africa.
