Ethiopia's Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Adam Mohamed, has said that the military is prepared to oppose any assault on the Renaissance Dam on the River Nile and complete counterattacks against the aggressors.  The overall's announcement came during an encounter with various other senior officials to the site of the dam in the west of the nation. Brigadier General Yilma Mordesa, the leader of the Ethiopian Air Force, added that it is prepared to guard the dam and the encompassing region.  The legislature in Addis Ababa pulled back from exchanges about the Renaissance Dam with Egypt and Sudan the two nations downstream of the dam under US sponsorship, focusing on its entitlement to the Nile water, and the improvement of such a characteristic asset.  Cairo has dismissed Ethiopia's position and perspectives as an uncalled-for heightening.
