Adwa Celebration 2021 in Bahir Dar

UNESCO will check the day under the topic: "The Battle of Adwa: A conclusive achievement in the battle for the freedom of the African mainland."  Culture and Tourism Minister Hirut Kassaw, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences Gabriela Ramos, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Priority Africa and External Relations Firmin Matoko, Permanent Delegate of Namibia to UNESCO and Chair of the Africa Group at UNESCO Albertus Aochamub are required to offer opening comments during the event.  The delivery noticed that the Battle of Adwa, where Ethiopia crushed Italy, changed the worldwide request perpetually with the marking by Italy the Treaty of Addis Ababa that perceives Ethiopia as sovereign and equivalent of European countries on 26 October 1896.  It added that the triumph lighted and filled in as an impetus for the freedom of Africa and the Panafrican development. The government office at last approached all to join the webcast that will be spilled by the Facebook Page of the Ethiopian Embassy in Paris @ethiopianembassyparis and at UNESCO official page.
